The only reason I gave this book four stars instead of five is the paucity and scarcity of maps. Felix is going to learn a lot more on the ranch then what he does in his college classes. this Texas trip was interesting and made more interesting to observe Eve out of her element and facing wide open spaces and, horror of horrors, cows and horses. I won't get into too much detail here, but if this time period interests you at all, you'll be hooked.
